Split Seals -The Chesterton 442M split mechanical seal eliminates the need for equipment disassembly during seal installation and reduces maintenance costs. This split technology includes vacuum-to-positive pressure capability, which is especially beneficial in process vessel material transfer. It accommodates large radial and axial shaft motion.
Reduces energy consumption by friction, eliminates losses of production water, making the pumping system more efficient, keeping a clean area and eliminating the risk of personnel falls, and reduces the corrosion process in the stuffing box and discharge head area. In vertical pump applications it makes it easier for mechanics to assemble and maintain the seal since it is not necessary to remove the motor.
Pump Repair - Since fire equipment system is essential for the safety of industries, it is important to keep it current with its maintenance. A company must ensure that its fire system is in optimum condition and that it requires some maintenance to be carried out immediately. We offer this type of reliable repair service for your pumps, ensuring that the equipment achieves the same efficiency as when it left the factory. There are no limits, equipment with more than 50 years old will return to the same factory efficiency after the repairs that we carry out. The equipment is protects itself against corrosion and erosion with high performance coating products. All parts are manufactured new and balanced to guarantee better long-term performance. There are alternatives to install mechanical seals and thus avoid this loss of water and electric consumption of the systems that keep the lines pressurized.
Steel Tank’s Mechanical Repair & Coating Application - Mechanical rehabilitation project and interior and exterior coating for tank corrosion control (Package Wastewater Treatment Plant). Replaced full 20’x 8' steel sheets and repaired pipe anchors of the mechanic systems in the tank. Sandblasted the interior surface to NACE No. 1 / SSPC-SP5 grade and applied epoxy ceramic reinforced lining. Prepared exterior surface and applied coating. The work was carried out in 45 calendar days due to the urgency of the client's production and achieved a positive result.
Pipe Fabrication, Modification & Installation on Site - Redesign and modification project for 14 "diameter ductile iron pipe with more than 50 years of service in a filtration process at basement of a Potable Water Plant. The project consisted of replacing a corroded pipe section in poor condition and modification of it to modern pipe with flanged connection. Also, the scope included surface preparation and application of a coating system for corrosion control.
Cast Iron (pipes, ducts, water boxes ect.) - Ceramic Epoxy Build-up: This project consisted of rehabilitating two pieces of a vertical pump of the condensate system of a thermoelectric plant. The pieces were severely corroded, and their integrity was compromised. The project contemplated surface preparation to NACE No.1 / SSPC-SP5 grade and additionally to decontaminate the cast iron substrate of soluble salts (nitrates, sulfate and chlorides) so as to guarantee the application of the coatings. All the pieces were filled with the filler material ARC 858 and then covered with the topcoat ARC S2 both products of the Manufacturer AW Chesterton were. Given this work, the user did not have to acquire the new parts and could receive a quality job that would guarantee several more years of services.
Steel Tank’s Mechanical Repair & Coating Application - This project consisted of fabricate new safety ladders, some weld mechanical repairs at the roof and surface preparation and application of an anti-corrosive system for the entire exterior of two tanks of 39' diameter & 57' of height.
